Houchens IGA: New Store

This is the first of two spots we did for Houchens IGA in Glasgow, KY.

lilDRAGON collaborated with Werkshop Marketing to create this heart warming commercial that shows you the newly remodeled Houchens store mixed with a bit of nostalgia- reminding you of the good ol’ days when Cracker Jacks came in boxes and had decoder ring prizes. Though Houchens is being remodeled and Cracker Jacks now have a piece of paper as the prize, the heart of it all is still the same and will continue to be for generations to come.

We had a great day shooting with these awesome folks. They kept the energy up the entire day, making it a pleasure to work with them!

Houchens IGA: Holiday Dinner

Nothing says family quite like sitting around a large table eating cold mashed potatoes and ham with a bunch of people you just met- well – in the commercial world anyway.

This spot is the second of two spots filmed for Houchens IGA, Glasgow. lilDRAGON collaborated with Werkshop to create this touching commercial that brings back all the good memories of holiday dinners with the fam. – and- by-golly we sure know how to pick out a convincing family, don’t we?

Everyone who helped out did such a great job it really made for a smooth day of shooting and that’s the way we like to keep it around lilDRAGON’s Lair.

Citizens First Bank- Mortgage Lending

Apparently Citizens First Bank does help everything grow as this commercial states- even the numbers on the heat index. Despite the blistering sun beating down on us all day we were able to knock this little guy out in a few hours. Everyone did a great job battling the high temperatures and taking care of business.

Special thanks for Shatana Johnson for knowing how to sport heels in the red dirt and putting up with the demanding life of an actress for a day. Also, a special shout out to the little furry lady in the commercial, Gretchen. This was her debut as an doggie star, but it won’t be her last! Don’t worry- she’ll be signing paw-to-graphs later.

RJ Young – Make Your Work Flow

R. J. Young recently snagged us to make this snazzy little video for part of their advertising campaign “Make your work flow.” This project was the collaboration of Werkshop, Lindy Rickert and Lil Dragon Entertainment.  With her help on concept development, Lindy, Marketing Director at R. J. Young aided in the birth of this creative brain child. From this direction, we then molded a commercial constructed on a theme rather than a pitch. There’s too much of that in advertising anyway, right?

Sure, document solutions sounds boring, but that’s where we employed our handiwork. By making it more like a music video, we gave it a “feel the flow” rather than a “fist in the face.” Ya know- the used car salesman type. No thanks.

Muchos gracias to Nashville Chamber of Commerce for providing our wonderfully ideal film location.  You chamber cats were super helpful throughout the filming process.  Support your local chamber as they support the citizens of Nashville!
